Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her aid and commitment to improving upon South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) services throughout an engagement while using the agency's senior supervisors at a strategic arranging session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the many social grant beneficiaries, who excelled inside the 2024 matric final exams.
From the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for that National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing 81% with the registered pupils within the education sector.
These learners realized a commendable pass rate of 86%.
